Easy to bash on this guy, but I feel compassion for him. He was a product of a particular time and place and has obviously gone through it. He has the death of at least one young man on his hands and probably others. Much to reckon with. Glad he finally came out and starting saying some of the right things.

The founder of one of the largest conversion therapy organizations has come out as gay and has apologized for his role in pushing the practice.
