Being with What Is ~ Breathwork Journey ✨

Feeling into this 1st month of the 2026 Western Calendar, and the 1st new moon this Sunday (1/18), the new year tends to be saturated with ideas and ambitions of change, forward movement, goals, resolutions etc, which tends to overshadow the beauty of the being. This time together will be about resting into what is, and being in presence with what’s most alive for us at this time.

To keep it easeful, while we’re winding down in the snake season, is there anything you’re looking to shed or let go of, and anything you’re looking to call in?

Where do you already feel at home in your life, and how could you spend a little more time there?

What qualities / sensations would you like to cultivate more/less of (e.g. liberation, play, joy)?

We’ll start with a grounding meditation, light somatic movement, dialogue about the theme, and move into the main ingredient, the breathwork.

Massage for deep restoration ✨ Winter settles deeply into the body. Cold temperatures and accumulated stress often show up as tight muscles, neck and shoulder tension, back and hip pain, achy joints, fatigue. At the beginning of the year, many people feel depleted yet intentionally ready to care for themselves in a more healthy way. Neuromagical Tweens ✨ A 6-week group series for tweens ages 10-12 with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent experiences.

Does your child feel overwhelmed by big emotions, sensory overload, or a body that seems out of sync with their fast-moving mind? Do they struggle to express what they are feeling, connect with peers, or regulate stress and anxiety, even though they are bright, creative, and deeply perceptive?

You have a brain that is capable of magical things! Maybe you feel like your brain moves too fast for your body, or like your feelings are too big or intense, or maybe you don’t always know how to express what’s happening in your inside world. Often, it’s just a matter of understanding what your brain and body need to be able to feel your feels, learn, and connect with others.

This workshop series is designed specifically for neurodivergent tweens who experience the world intensely and need practical, embodied tools to feel more grounded, confident, and connected. Rather than asking kids to “think their way” through emotions or behaviors, this group supports them in learning how their nervous system works, what their body is communicating, and how to respond with skill and self-compassion.

Winter Tending Breathwork Journey ✨

Join us on Saturday, December 6th with Jen Pi for an afternoon of deepening within through the body and breath, a journey to reconnect to yourself and with community. We will gather to be with what’s present and move through the last full moon of the year to prepare for the upcoming holiday season with greater capacity and breath.

The practice of breathwork is ancient, using conscious breath patterns to rinse the body of emotional debris to restore balance to the nervous system. The experience moves stagnant energy and facilitates the release of a range of emotions, ultimately creating more room for insights, clarity and feeling more at home in your body. This is an invitation to pause, relish in this liminal space, and wrap ourselves with warm intentions. Though this breathwork is active, it has a yin feel, and is open to beginners, and those familiar with breathwork alike.

We will begin our time together with herbal tea infusions to settle in, followed by a grounding meditation, introduction to the breath, weaving in communal conversation around the theme, before laying down to breathe. We will close our practice with optional soft reflections or shares for integration.

Somatic Therapy for Neurodivergence 💗

For many women and teens, the demands of daily life can feel overwhelming. The body and mind may cycle between overactivity and exhaustion, making it difficult to feel grounded or calm. This is especially true for those living with ADHD, autism, heightened sensitivity, and other forms of neurodivergence, where emotional intensity and difficulty with regulation can feel like a constant struggle.

At Luminae Wellness, Pam offers Somatic Therapy and a compassionate space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and build new pathways for regulation and balance. She specializes in supporting women, teens, and families who are navigating ADHD, sensory sensitivity, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm. Her sessions integrate talk therapy, mindfulness, and body-based practices to support emotional regulation, self-understanding, and a greater sense of ease.

Last Saturday, we had a nourishing workshop on Nervous System Regulation with Alison Berman at Luminae. It was a cherished time of self care for mothers, leaders, and givers. A remembrance to prioritize oneself as well.

Here are a few insights that we explored in the workshop:  

✨ Regulation = Flexibility: A regulated system is not calm all the time; it’s able to move through stress and return to safety.
✨ The Body Often Leads the Mind: Your body registers stress or safety signals before your mind.
✨ Our Nervous Systems Can Co-Regulate in Group Practice: Our nervous systems sync with the people around us. Practicing in community amplifies calm, safety, and grounded presence.
✨ The Nervous System Can Be Retrained: Even after stress or trauma, the autonomic nervous system can be retrained, especially with supportive practices such as yoga, meditation, and mantra-based chanting.

Acupuncture & Winter Wellness ☯️

In Chinese Medicine, the winter months are the most Yin time of the year. Yin is the energy of stillness, rest, darkness, and deep restoration. Just as the earth draws its energy inward to rest and replenish, we too are invited to slow down and nourish the roots of our vitality.

This season is connected to the Kidneys, which holds the foundation of life force and the body’s deepest energy reserves. The Kidneys store Jing, the essential energy we are born with that governs growth, development, reproduction, and longevity. When the Kidneys are strong, we feel steady, nourished, and resilient. When depleted, we may experience fatigue, low back pain, coldness, hormone imbalances, anxiety, fear and disconnection.
