www.kristarherbe.com Each month we will build our relationship to one plant through an Herb of the Month. You will leave class with a plant to spend time with and deepen your understanding. It could be a tincture, infused oil, electuary, dry herb, or acetum but you are encouraged to create different types of medicine with these herbs. Seasonally we will look deeper into how the body responds to the changes in our environment and how we can use plants energetically and therapeutically to cultivate good health through the changing seasons. Each season also offers a Medicine Making intensive focusing on the traditional and modern uses of a specific plant based Menstruum (Apple/Grape/Olive/Honey). We will be offering two field trips, one in the Spring to Anza Borrego and one in the Summer to Mt. Students are encouraged to have a frequent meditation place in the presence of a nature beings and an herbal journal. Class Times and Additional Information
Classes will meet in Berkeley (unless otherwise specified) for 6 hours the Sunday before the Dark Moon (wiggled a bit, dates are below) from 10:00am-5:30pm with 30 minute lunch. Some elements of the classes are not fully outlined in the offering, and are subject to upgrade due to season, time, and interest. These classes will be intimate and limited space is available. You are welcomed to sign up for all classes and trips in advance or choose to attend the classes and trips individually. Classes will be lead by Krista R.
