This month is TMJ awareness month!!!
TMJ disorder is a collective term for a group of conditions causing pain and dysfunction in the jaw joint and the muscles that control jaw movement. Symptoms include: pain in (jaw, face, neck, or ear), clicking, popping when opening/ closing, and stiffness causing limited range of motion in jaw. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or are just curious let us know at your next appointment.
