Wellness is such a buzzword these days. It's so hard to find a balance between caring enough to make the changes we know will help, without allowing it to become an obsession in our life. Both ignorance and idolization of our health draw us away from Christ, but putting Christ at the center allows us to pursue true wellness by His grace and for His glory. Another class is coming up at Take Heart Counseling & Equine Assisted Therapy on August 16th! The Take Heart ranch is a special, peace-filled place where people can come and find hope and healing alongside their beautiful horses and amazing staff! This Faith-Based Functional Medicine Intro Class will help you sort through the overwhelming noise surrounding healthy living, leaving you encouraged and equipped to take the next steps toward the abundant life God has for you.

We will discuss basic functional medicine principles and why things like gut health and the gut-brain connection are important. We will also discuss how we can approach functional medicine from a Christ-centered perspective. Practical action steps in 7 foundational aspects of health will be provided to help everyone find a place to start. It will be a wonderful time of growth and encouragement together!
