Soaking up the sun between a full week of appointments ☀️

Today was different, I was at the ocean and that was therapeutic for me, which is new since I’m not usually near the ocean. There was something grounding about being there with intention, and not just passing through, but truly pausing.

The waves have a way of slowing everything down, and reminding me that even after a dark winter, light finds its way back 🌊🌿

✨ Tuesday Wellness Tip ✨

Do something kind for someone today… and don’t expect anything in return.

No recognition. No praise. Just genuine kindness.

There’s something powerful about giving from a place of pure intention, it nourishes your spirit in ways nothing else can. It reminds you who you are at your core. 💛

A smile. A message. Holding the door. Checking in.
Small acts… big impact.

Journey well today 🤍

POV: You’ve spent months navigating appointments, long drives, and doing your best to heal…

And now it’s like:
“Okay, go back to work like nothing happened” 😅

Monday night thoughts 🌙

Why does re-entering the workforce feel harder than we admit?

Have you ever taken a long-term leave?
What helped you get back into your groove?

✨ Real tip: Start where you are, and not where you think you “should” be.

Because let’s be honest… you’ve been through a lot.

Drop your thoughts. We are in this together 💛

Oldest Subway in America - Boston’s heartbeat then and now 🚇

The MBTA subway system—one of the oldest in the country—first began running in 1897, changing the way the city moved forever. What started as a simple underground line has grown into a lifeline connecting generations, neighborhoods, and stories.

From vintage tunnels to today’s bustling platforms… some things have changed, but the rhythm of Boston keeps moving.

Old tracks. New views. Same city energy.

Monday Wellness Tip 🌿

If the week ahead feels overwhelming, try this: break the big things into small, doable steps.

Instead of “get everything done,” shift to:
✨ One task at a time
✨ One hour at a time
✨ One small win at a time

Some simple ways to make it work:
• Turn your to-do list into bite-sized pieces (ex: instead of “clean the house” → “wipe counters,” “start laundry,” “fold clothes”)
• Set a timer for 20–30 minutes and focus on just one thing
• Prioritize 2–3 must-do tasks for the day (not 20 😅)
• Give yourself permission to pause and reset between tasks
• Celebrate the small wins—they count more than you think

You don’t have to do everything today. You just have to start somewhere.

Gentle reminder: You are doing the best you can with what you have and that is enough 🤍

If you accidentally take someone’s laundry… are you keeping it or returning it? 👀

Because let me tell you what just happened…

Someone took my entire load from the dryer.
Fast forward an hour—same person comes back and uses the SAME dryer.

So I ask, “Hey… was there laundry in there?”
They go, “Yeah, I got it—I’ll be back.”

Comes back with HALF of it… folded.
The other half? Missing.

I say, “I’m still missing clothes…”
They hit me with an “Ooo…” and disappear again.

Then come back with the rest… unfolded this time. 🥴

At this point I’m just standing there like: ☠️👀😂

Real question though…
Would you wear someone else’s clothes after all that?? 😅

🌿 Journey Well with Jess 🌿

Preparing for a week of travel (especially for work or medical) isn’t about perfection—it’s about keeping it simple.

✨ Light meal prep (snacks + 1–2 easy meals)
✨ A small wellness bag (water, snacks, meds)
✨ Expect delays & give yourself grace
✨ Choose ease when you can
✨ Rest when your body asks for it

Some weeks, the win is just showing up—and that’s enough.

💭 Do you meal prep when you travel or just go with the flow?

🍃 I stay in places where I can cook, and I have a small kitchen tote. Remember, this is different than a vacation.
Stay well, journey well.

🌿 Sunday Wellness Tip🌿

Being away from home whether it’s for work, healing, or life’s unexpected detours can feel heavy. So today’s reminder is simple but powerful: create a sense of “home” wherever you are.

✨ Journey Well Tip:
Carry a few pieces of comfort with you
🌱 a favorite tea
🌱 your journal
🌱 a calming playlist, or a small routine that grounds you.
🍃These aren’t just habits…they are anchors.

Because even in unfamiliar places, you deserve to feel safe, centered, and connected to yourself.

💭 Home isn’t always a place… it’s a feeling you can take with you. I have learned this over the years 💛

Give yourself grace today. You’re still showing up, still moving forward… and that matters more than you know. 💛

📍 Salem, Massachusetts — April

3 hours from home for multiple doctor’s visit over 10 days… not easy. But today, we found a moment.

A short walk. Fresh air. A reset.

Didn’t cost a thing—but meant everything. ✨

🌱 Healing isn’t just in the appointment… it’s in the moments in between.
Try to get 15 minutes a day—your mind will thank you.
