This month, we’ve started exploring our A Little SPOT of Emotions curriculum, beginning with the emotion happy. 💛

Our children created yellow smiley faces while talking about feelings, expressions, and the different ways happiness can look throughout our day. Simple moments of play, connection, and learning together. ☀️

Meet Liz 🤍

Liz has earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood and Adolescent Development from Southern New Hampshire University and plans to pursue her Master’s in Art Therapy.

She has always had a strong passion for supporting and caring for others, which led her to the field of ABA therapy. Liz values being part of each child’s journey of learning and growth here at Somewhere Over the Spectrum.

Outside of the center, she enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, as well as attending concerts and baking.

We’re continuing to grow our team and always welcome the opportunity to connect. ✨

Come be part of something meaningful. 🤍

We’re growing and looking for individuals who feel called to this work, who value connection, compassion, and supporting each child as a whole.

At Somewhere Over the Spectrum, we believe in creating a space that feels like home, for both the children we serve and the team beside us.

If this resonates, we would love to connect.

Autism acceptance isn’t just something we recognize, it’s something we live.

Not just this month, but in every moment we share, we honor, celebrate, and embrace each child for who they are. 🤍

Meet Erin 🤍

Erin began working with children with ASD in 6th grade and quickly fell in love with the uniqueness of each individual she supports.

She strives to make a difference each day, bringing smiles, supporting growth, and helping children feel successful in all aspects, while celebrating progress alongside their families.

Outside of the center, Erin enjoys being outdoors, hiking, skiing, camping, boating, and spending time with friends and family.

We’re always growing our team with individuals who feel called to this work and share in our heart-centered approach. ✨

In the simplest moments, so much is unfolding ✨

Pouring water.
Scooping and transferring.
Matching and placing with care.

These aren’t just activities, they’re natural invitations to play.
Opportunities to explore, problem-solve, and build independence through hands-on discovery.

When we slow down and follow the child’s lead, learning happens in the most meaningful ways, rooted in curiosity, regulation, and joy. 🤍

“If you’ve met one person with autism, you’ve met one person with autism.” 🤍

This month, and every month, we are reminded of the importance of truly seeing each child for who they are.

Every child is unique.
Every journey is different.

At Somewhere Over the Spectrum, we look beyond labels and expectations to support each child as a whole, honoring their individuality and their way of experiencing the world.

Because meaningful support begins with connection. ✨
