For the past few years, I’ve had an idea swirling in my mind to create a retreat where small business owners could step away from everyday responsibilities and have real, uninterrupted time to work, create, organize, or simply read or think. A beautiful, peaceful space paired with a supportive community.

I’m fortunate to work with a group of small business owners who have been meeting together for the past couple of years. We genuinely enjoy one another, support one another, and show up for each other’s growth. This fall, I brought them an idea — a New Year retreat — and they said yes.

This past weekend, we stayed at a historic 1740 farmhouse in North Stonington. Each person had their own suite, and there were beautiful shared spaces where we worked independently during the day and gathered for meals and downtime in the evenings. The energy of the house was special, and I got more meaningful work done in a few days than I typically do in weeks at home juggling work & daily life.

I’m incredibly grateful for this group for being willing to try something new together - and for cooking up meals & drinks that would put restaurants & coffees houses out of business! 😋 I feel accomplished and rested, empowered and supported… A beautiful blend that I know will support me heading into the new year!

Congratulations to my daughter Grace, who chose to complete her first Reiki training and attunement on her 19th birthday 🤍

Grace has been one of my greatest teachers and inspirations in this life, and I know that a meaningful part of my Reiki journey has been creating space for her to safely explore her gifts, trust herself, and shine her big, beautiful light.🌟

The further down the path you travel, the more opportunities you have to look back and see how life was placing you in the right spaces and with the right people long before you ever knew why.

This popped up in my Facebook memories today and truly stopped me in my tracks. I had completely forgotten that I once taught an essential oils class in the very building that now holds my practice. 🤯

That class—nine years ago—was one of my earliest steps into the holistic world. At the time, I was offering small, community-based classes, sharing what essential oils were all about. One of those classes happened to take place in a downstairs conference room in this same building—years before I could have ever imagined having my own practice or working here.

Looking back, we begin to recognize how the universe aligned us with certain people and places exactly when we needed them—🌟well before we had any sense of the bigger picture. When we feel those gentle nudges toward certain people, places, experiences, or opportunities, sometimes the most important thing is simply to follow them, rather than trying to make sense of everything in the moment. Clarity often comes later, once we pause and see how perfectly the dots were being connected all along.💗💫🫶🏼

In this season of reflection and realignment, I’ve made some updates to my Reiki Mentorship offerings—something that’s been calling me for a while.

For 2026, Reiki Mentorship remains a deeply personalized support space, now with two clear pathways:

• Professional Path – for those offering Reiki professionally and looking to refine skills, strengthen routines, build confidence with clients, and elevate their practice.
• Integration Path – for students or newer practitioners without an established practice space who want to deepen their connection with Reiki through mentorship and practice sessions in my professional space.

I’ve spent a couple of hours today preparing for a Reiki Refresher session tomorrow.

As you move forward on your Reiki path, you may feel drawn to reconnect with certain aspects of your training. Perhaps you’re interested in working with distance Reiki and it’s been a while since your Reiki Level II training, or maybe you’re teaching or preparing to share Reiki with others and would like to revisit earlier material with fresh eyes. You may also have trained with multiple Reiki teachers and feel curious about reviewing familiar concepts through a different lens and voice.

Whatever your reason, a Reiki Refresher Session is designed to support this kind of reconnection. These sessions offer space to review and deepen your understanding of Reiki concepts taught at different levels, in a way that feels relevant to where you are now.
Before your session, I’ll connect with you to learn what you’d like to focus on & share a survey of topics so I can thoughtfully prepare a refresher experience that’s tailored specifically to your needs.
