Well our COVID shutdown is over and we're back to doing crafts! Today we did these really cute back to school door hangers! Some of them again took the liberty to do whatever they wanted, and I love that!

On Friday we celebrated the dog days of summer with games, fruit kabobs, a hot dog bar as well as a Sunday bar with bone shaped brownies! It was a fun day of celebrating the end of summer!

Last week here at BW We celebrated the dog days of summer! In preparing for our celebration we made puppy chow for a snack for the residents! We have a few cooks in our midst!

Today we created our own flower gardens to bring the beauty of the outdoors in to our rooms!! They turned out very pretty, and colorful!!

Last week we made watercolor winged butterflies! A much easier craft than what we had been doing for them but what I love most about this craft, is that they all took the initiative to make their "own" butterflies! They changed the directions to make them what they wanted them to be and I thought that was so cool!

We had so much fun doing our patriotic crafts so far this summer! We started out with our flag shirts in June, moving on to our stars which we hung on the windows. We did our 4th of July door hangers which really turned out cute! And then we treated ourselves to patriotic ice cream cone cake desserts at our resident meeting! It has been fun celebrating our nation this summer! Happy Birthday to the USA! 🎆

Good afternoon everyone! MERRY CHRISTMAS!! We want to share our contest with you
all!! ln fact we want you to be the judge for this exciting contest!
Each resident has teamed up with a staff member to
decorate their door! We want you to judge the winner of the door, which of course has to have a Christmas theme! Be
careful with how you use your "like" button because that is
how we are going to judge the winner of the doors! The
resident/staff who has the most "likes" will win! "Likes"
will count until midnight of
December 13th so you have some time to rally more troops
on your favorite door! One rule: you may not "share" the door pictures to get votes! Site traffic only... Wednesday, December 14th we'll announce the winners so stay tuned! And.... GO!
