On Sunday July 20th 2025, the 38th Annual Ben to the Shore Bike Tour will be taking place. Bicyclists will be traveling through our area from Haddon Ave to the White Horse Pike towards Atlantic City. Please use caution in the area during this time.

On Sunday July 20th, the 38th Annual Ben to the Shore will be passing through Berlin Township. Starting around 7:45 am approximately 2600 cyclists will enter the Township on Haddon Ave - some will stop at FOP Lodge 56 - and then depart onto the White Horse Pike at Cross Keys Rd. Residents and motorist should expect traffic delays at all of the intersections with Haddon Ave. until 9:15 am. Please be careful and respectful. They are riding for a great cause.

As we celebrate the 4th of July the members of Berlin EMS would like to remember John D. West Sr., James Sylvester and Thomas Stewart III, who died in the line of duty on July 4, 2002, and three sisters; Alexandra, Claudia and Colletta whom they were trying rescue from their burning home.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July! We will see you on the parade route!

Tomorrow, the annual Fourth of July Parade will be held in Berlin. The parade route as normal will start in West Berlin, and travel into Berlin. There will be several detours established and a large police and public safety presence. The closure of the White Horse Pike and other roadways is expected between 8AM and 1PM.

Follow all law enforcement and other public officials' directions if you come into a detour. There will be delays so please plan accordingly. Follow all posted detour signs.

If you are attending the parade, please ensure you check you are not in a "no parking area".
