Kiln loaded. Greenware loaded. Once fired to a860 degrees and it will come out bisqueware. Hopefully; firing Thursday.

10 am. Been in my studio for a few hrs. Morning coffee in. Now I have a smoothie at 10. Chibano vanilla yogurt. 1 frozen banana. I frozen peach ( from my tree). 1 scoop vanilla protein powder and 1 scoop Smart Beets. It is DELICIOUS and curbs my need for ice cream. It is literally better than ice cream. Yummy. Back to the wheel. And hoping to get a big slab rolled out for a large fruit bowl. Great day in the studio. Going for a bike ride for lunch hour. I love fall.

My ceramics professor was Paul Donhauser. His ceramics professor was Tashiko T. I seen her work in Beloxi Mississippi at the George Ohr art gallery. It was one of the coolest exhibitions I've ever seen.

I have been sticking mucho money in to the Dragon. My kiln that I've been running hard since 2006. After a new controller, new relay, new fuse, new fan and an electrician over 3 days...I'ts still not quite right. These glazed pots fired 20 hours..should have only fired 8-10. Guess come Monday I will be doing some more troubleshooting. These pots turned out cool but a few totally overfired. I'm loving that buttery yellow that turns a golden ochre in the right heat.
