Black History Month is a time to pause and honor the deep roots of healing traditions. While forms of energy healing have existed across cultures throughout history, Black people have carried, protected, and practiced these traditions through generations of systemic harm and erasure.
Holding this history invites reflection and care. I do my best to approach this work with humility and intention, staying mindful of where it comes from and remaining open to learning as I go. Honoring lineage, for me, is an ongoing practice.
This month, and always.
