Pelvic Stability PT

My name is Elizabeth Stryker. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) specializing in pelvic health.

The pelvic floor plays a vital role in the health of the genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and musculoskeletal systems of the body, yet symptoms of an improperly functioning pelvic floor may be difficult to identify, embarrassing to talk about, and dismissed by providers. Pelvic floor dysfunction can manifest as urinary leakage, constipation, frequent nighttime urination, and pain with vaginal insertion, amongst other symptoms. I am passionate about empowering client to feel confident and in control of their pelvic floor. My goal when someone works with me is that they leave with a feeling of relief - that they have a plan, that someone listened to them, and that they will have the tools to help themselves!

This is your reminder that nothing is permanent.

This was my first car.

At age 16. I hated it. I cared so much about what people thought. Mortified - I would park as far away from school as possible.

My dream car now? An electric Volkswagen van.🚐 😂

So if it feels like you are stuck in a crappy situation, just know, it’s not going to be like that forever. And one day you may look back and realize how much you have grown from it all.

So many times I hear this… a life, a schedule revolving around this organ. I was there as well! There are little things you can adjust that can make a huge difference.

Getting prepped for my last Riley assembly of the 2024-2025 school year - can’t wait to see all magic that gets shared! 🪄🎢🧘‍♀️

To bring something like this - a faraway pipe dream a year ago - to my kid’s school is wild!

You never know what is around the corner - you just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and be willing to fail.

That blank slate feeling. Every single time it feels intimidating. To start something new. To not know how it will turn out. But there is nothing quite like getting lost in the flow. And sometimes things go in a different direction, one you didn’t plan out, and it’s there the real magic happens. 🌟

My wish for everyone out there = find your flow, your magic, and get lost in it whenever you can 🪄💕

✨ Caught the Northern Lights tonight in NJ 🪄

To the naked eye the sky had a pink hue, the camera captured this magic. It got me thinking. We all have layers, they are not all visible to everyone all the time. Often times - they may not even be visible to us. There is magic swirling around inside us all, sometimes we have to stand still, breathe, and give ourselves time and grace to find it. 🌌✨
