Do you have an hour to spare this Wednesday? If so, we would love your help with our Annual Friendship Walk! We will travel down Forest Park Drive, make our way to the fire station, then head back to the Swiss Village auditorium where we will have a sack lunch with our resident friends! After lunch we will take residents back to their living areas! This is the same day as our Tractor/Engine Show, which makes this an extra fun event!

When: September 10, 2025
Time: Walk begins at 10:30am, line up at 10:00am.
Where: Meet at the Healthcare entrance, off of Forest Park Drive.

Join us along with Ball State PBS, for a special red-carpet premiere of Now Entering…Berne — Ball State PBS’s newest installment in their documentary series that shines a spotlight on small towns!

The event will be held on Thursday, September 18th here at Swiss Village in the Auditorium!

The schedule for the night is:
6:15 PM - Doors open, red carpet, photos and concessions!
6:55 PM - Welcome remarks!
7 PM - Now Entering…Berne screening!
7:30 PM - Filmmaker panel discussion and audience Q&A!
8 PM - Event concludes!

Walk the red carpet, snap a photo, and enjoy a community celebration as we premiere this locally-made documentary starring the residents, business owners, and artists who make downtown Berne shine!

After the screening, stay for a panel discussion featuring storytellers and community members who helped bring this project to life. Learn about the behind-the-scenes process and what makes Berne so special!

Admission is free, but registration is required as space is limited.

Open Opportunities:
🌙 Baylor Nurse/QMA – Weekend-only (Sat & Sun, 6pm–6am). Work 24 hours, get paid for 36! Full benefits + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!

🌙 Part-Time Charge Nurse – 1–2 nights per week, 6pm–6am. No weekends required!

🌙 Full-Time & Part-Time Nurses/QMAs – 2–3 nights per week, 6pm–6am with weekend rotation. Up to $3.75/hour shift premiums + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time!

Our Story

At Swiss Village we are blessed to serve around 300 amazing individuals. Not only do we get to serve them with Christ like love, but we get to be a part of their daily lives, growing with them. The onsite daycare center serves around 50 children each day. The unique intergenerational activities on having such a facility on campus allows for life to truly happen.
