Peel +9
The primary peel is complete. However, I often end up with a secondary shed, like little flakes, as the very delicate first exposed skin kind of becomes like a scab, for lack of a better term, and then sloughs off.
I'll post the final picture after my hydrating facial on Tuesday.

*I always follow up with my peels 2 weeks later to make sure that the peel has completed successfully and really hydrate all the new skin. Especially if we're working on hyperpigmentation, brown spots.

These two handsome gentlemen were both in the U.S. Navy.
On the left is John Tomas Tessmer, USN- Retired. A one point he was the best boiler tech in the Navy. They flew him all over the world to work on our ships. (Korea and Vietnam)
On the right is Forrest V. Pawling. He warhed from the deck of his ship as the emperor of Japan surrendered. He was close enough to see the Emperor's white gloves. (WWII, Pacific Theater)

The halo os growing and now my forehead and nose have started peeling.
Washing my face was a trip, as the Vitamin Veil acted like a gommage exfoliator and I had little rolled up bits all over!
I think maybe another day or 2...

I now have a nice halo of peeling skin. It's now moving under my chin. Interested to see how the thicker skin of my neck peels.

Definitely peeling a lot more! It was pilling up as I rinsed and applied moisturizer and SPF this am.
More of the same this evening. And it's tingly/itchy as the new, tender skin is exposed.

My skin felt tight and a little itchy... had to keep reminding myself that I must not scratch or rub!! Also a little pink in areas.

Peel +2 days
Starting to see some flaking around the more mobile areas of the face, especially the mouth.
My skin is still dry and itchy but no longer pink. Now starting to look very dull and slightly sallow.
It's a "journey."🙄

It's peel season, ladies!
I was a sun worshiper as a kid and my 45 year old skin is starting to show it.
Over the summer I started to notice dark spots on my temples, cheeks and jaw line and I am not about to just let that go!
Today, I did a 2.5 layer MandiClear and Vitamin A Accelerator peel. I did 2 full layers of the MandiClear and then spot treated my darker hyperpigmentation spots before applying 2 layers of the Viamin A.
I will be taking pictures daily for the next week or so to show how the peel progresses and what the final results are..
