• Taking a slow walk
• Breathing in silence for 60 seconds
• Stretching your body
• Turning off notifications

Your Window of Tolerance is the zone where your brain and body feel safe, calm, and capable of handling life. Inside this window, you can think clearly, stay present, and respond with choice—not just react.

But when stress, trauma, or overwhelm hits…
You might slip outside that window:

Hyperarousal (fight/flight):
Anxious, angry, panicky, restless, reactive

Hypoarousal (freeze/shut down):
Numb, disconnected, exhausted, spaced out

The goal isn’t to “never react”—it’s to notice, name, and gently come back into your window.

Ways to return to your window:
• Deep breathing
• Movement or grounding
• Talking with a safe person
• Practicing mindfulness
• Creating a calm routine

With awareness and support, your window can grow.
You can build resilience.
You can feel safe again.

Your brain is always learning. As you 'feed' your brain through the day, it is being trained to look for the 'like' or the same in your world.

Yes, hard things happen.
But so do moments of beauty.
Small wins.
Kind words.
Second chances.
Sunlight through the trees.
The strength that carried you through yesterday.

Training your mind to see the good doesn’t mean ignoring the hard stuff. It isn't toxic positivity, painting everything with rainbows and butterflies and pretending there aren't hard things in your life.

It means giving equal weight to what’s healing, hopeful, and true. Life can be good and hard at the same time.

Don't just notice the pain, the difficulties, the hard stuff.
Notice the good.
Name it out loud.
Embrace it, let it be there--simultaneously with everything else.

When you do this, you’re rewiring your brain toward peace—one thought at a time. 💛

In a world that pulls us in a hundred directions, finding balance can feel like chasing something that's always just out of reach.

Balance is about paying attention to what your mind, body, and spirit are telling you.

Start noticing when you’ve given too much, rested too little, or silenced your own needs.

• Set one healthy boundary
• Say “yes” to rest without guilt
• Breathe before responding
