Older women suffering from dementia were found to be at increased risk of physical abuse and neglect by family caregivers. The contributing factors to elder abuse in persons with dementia include poverty, low levels of education of both the victim and caregiver, social isolation, and alcohol abuse by the caregiver. If someone you know is a victim of elder abuse please report it to Adult Protective Services in your area.

Managing the aging process can be hard. Let us help!

Navigating the complex situations that occur as people age has become increasingly difficult for families to manage. Some of these situations are part of the normal aging process, some may be from disability or chronic illness. Our Care Managers work directly with clients and their families to deal with these real life problems. We work hard to help our clients remain as autonomous as possible, but are able to assist in the areas where they cannot be independent.
