Online Mindfulness Therapy for stress teaches you practical and very effective methods for managing stress.

Successful stress management depends on you changing the relationship you have with stressful thoughts, to observe those thoughts but without becoming lost in reactivity and proliferation of those thoughts.

We achieve this by learning how to meditate on the mind, we learn to meditate on those thoughts and the underlying fear that fuels those thoughts.

The more we cultivate mindfulness towards our stress, which is non-reactive, the more the stress subsides. This is why Mindfulness Meditation on stress is the best approach for managing stress. Trying to avoid stressful thoughts is futile and likely to cause even more stress. Instead we want to focus on changing the way that we relate to stressful reactions.

This is the key. Meditation trains the mind to be able to be totally present with stress reactions but without becoming lost in those reactions. We learn to see the reaction without becoming the reaction. This is the purpose of meditation, to develop a nonreactive relationship with the reaction itself! This stops the habitual process that reinforces the stress reactions, and if you stop feeding them then those reactions subside and lose power until they no longer trigger emotional distress.

Online therapy is a very effective way of working with anxiety and depression and also other emotional problems that you may be experiencing, and it is available, of course, wherever you live, whether that is in the US or abroad.

I see people all over the world, and particularly people who are interested in Mindfulness Therapy, which is the particular style of therapy that I offer online and that works extremely well for anxiety and depression.

Basically, during these online therapy sessions, what I will be teaching you is how to work with your emotions and how to develop more space in that relationship with your emotions and with your thoughts, so that you can break the habit of becoming overwhelmed or consumed by your thoughts or emotions.

But, when you change how you see the emotion in the mind, when you change its image structure, then you change the emotion itself, directly. So, that is one part of mindfulness therapy.

People really like the convenience of online therapy and my clients like an approach that focuses on teaching practical mindfulness methods that you can apply by yourself.

I find it very effective and most of my clients really enjoy the online therapy option. It’s much easier and more convenient to talk to a therapist online and get help for your anxiety or depression or other emotional problems than it is to go to a therapist’s office.

It’s also much less intimidating for most people. Most people find therapy via a video call to be considerably more comfortable. And that’s my goal is to give you the tools for working with your anxiety not to become reliant on a therapist and certainly not become reliant on medications.

Medications to not treat the underlying cause of anxiety. At best they may provide a temporary reduction in the symptoms of anxiety, but they don’t treat the underlying cause, so medication is not a long term solution. The only effective long term solution is to learn how to work with your mind, with the thoughts and beliefs, memories and habitual emotional reactivity that feeds your anxiety or depression or addiction.
