BIG NEWS: Begin Again Institute Is Now a CareCredit Provider! 🎉

We’re excited to announce that clients can now potentially finance treatment at Begin Again Institute through CareCredit!

This means qualified clients may be eligible for flexible payment plans, including promotional 0% interest options.

This has the potential to be a GAME-CHANGER.

And the reason we’re excited is simple: it creates more opportunities for people to access to the help they need - and may not have been able to afford before.

Too often, people delay getting the support they need because of financial barriers. Our hope is to help more individuals, couples, and families access transformational care and begin healing sooner.

If you’ve been considering treatment, our team is here to answer questions and help you explore your options. 💙

“What is betrayal trauma?”

Betrayal trauma is the deeply painful, incredibly complex, and multifaceted impact people experience after someone they trust betrays them.

Betrayal trauma can occur when a partner chooses to share their s*xual energy, s*xual interest, or s*xual self outside the primary relationship - through p**nography, online interactions, emotional affairs, or other means - without the other partner’s knowledge or consent.

S*xual betrayal can impact you mentally, psychologically, emotionally, and physically. It is a deeply painful and traumatic experience that impacts every part of an individual and their life. Many partners describe their experience as “shattering.”

When compulsive s*xual behavior has been or is present in a relationship, often the focus is on supporting the person dealing with those behaviors. While this is essential, the individual who has been betrayed needs and deserves support as they navigate the immense wounds they’ve sustained.

If you’ve been betrayed, please hear this:

You are worthy of healing. Your healing matters, and you deserve support and care.

Your world may have shattered, but you don’t have to pick up the pieces alone.

Our 6-Day Betrayal Trauma Intensive for women is designed to be a safe place to be seen, supported and resourced, not only in the experience, but for continued healing on the path ahead.

For more info, reach out to our team at (720)802-2354.

We are here, and we’d be honored to walk alongside you as you process your pain, grief, anger and loss, and learn tools to heal and move toward reclaiming + rebuilding YOU. ❤️‍🩹

“Together We Rise” - There couldn’t be a more fitting theme for inaugural conference of the Association of Partners of S*x Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS)!

This theme is lived out in how APSATS supports partners, champions healing, equips professionals, and fosters community and connection as an agent for healing and change.

We heard insightful presentations from skilled clinicians and coaches that expanded our understanding and awareness. We honored those who have paved the way and helped usher in a new model for how betrayed partners are supported. Thank you Dr. Barb Steffans Donna Dixon We laughed, we learned, and many of us cried. We experienced community and connection with colleagues and friends, known and new.

Thank you to the APSATS team who dreamed, planned and carried out this event. You curated a beautiful and powerful experience that engaged us on so many levels - mentally, emotionally, relationally and physically. (Special shout out to for all the ways you put your heart and soul into this conference!)

It was a highlight to have our Executive Clinical Director and APSATS Board Member, Matt Wenger, share a powerful presentation entitled, “From Rage to Resilience: Restoring Anger to a Place of Honor.” We’re deeply grateful for Matt’s heart to help partners heal from the pain and trauma of s*xual betrayal, and this presentation shared profound perspective and insight on the role anger plays in a partner’s experience, how to engage it in a ways that are healthy, not harmful, and the benefits that come when we do.

Our organization is thankful for APSATS and the years of work that they have devoted to helping partners heal from betrayal trauma.

What an honor to be a part of this year’s conference.

We really are better together, and together we rise. We can’t wait for the next one!

Week-to-week therapy is essential to the healing process, but what we do at Begin Again is different. Our 14-day intensives are designed to help clients do deep trauma work in a safe, supportive environment. It is a sacred thing to let others into our most deeply wounded places - and it’s something that many of us put off doing for much of our lives. But in the unhealed wounds and the stories they wrote in our minds, on our hearts and within our nervous system, we find the roadmap to wholeness and transformation. Our experienced, compassionate clinicians partner with clients to do the sacred work of looking at their stories, naming their wounds, identifying the ways they’ve coped, and understanding how their nervous system has been impacted - and learning how to heal it.

One of the most powerful aspects of our program is the relationships that men have with their cohort - a chance to know and be known, to practice the vulnerability needed to heal, and build the skills needed to experience true connection with themselves and others.

“These bonds of brotherhood are the things that will sustain us in recovery, and they provide the safety that is required to be vulnerable and to rewire the brain for connection.” - Matt Wenger, MA, LPC, CCPS, CSAT, Executive Clinical Director for Begin Again Institute

It’s not too late to begin again.

Want to know more? Let’s connect - give us a call at (720) 802-2354.

Whether you’re seeking change for yourself, or a helping professional looking for options to support your ongoing work with a client, we’d love to connect with you.
