Read this today on my, "everyday always" calendar by Bob Goff:
"If we are fortunate, God surrounds us with friends who know us so well they've stop trying to control our conduct with endless instructions and instead trust that God is at work in our lives, even if he's doing things we don't yet understand."
I love that post because it really encourages us to understand that as a friend, God encourages us to intercede in prayer and exercise faith that God has our friends best interest at heart. In tomorrow's episode, he reminds us that God gives us all the resources including the Bible, good Christian books and so much more that we can be a resource or a writer of his good graces on our friends heart. I guess I'm a calligrapher that needs to get busy!

In my last post I shined a light on a song by Consumed by Fire called, "What If?" So I challenge you today, what if you tried a little harder, forgave more, submitted to your partner as an equal, edified those around you, pursued that goal or gifting with renewed energy....Would you find yourself receiving the benefit in the end? What if you didn't give up when he/she said it's over? What if you learned to remain quiet instead of using vulgarities and put downs on those around you? What if you learned to listen for understanding instead of demanding to be heard? What if......You get the idea, change to influence others because you can't change them!
