🌿 Exciting News for Our New Hospital! 🌿

One of the unique features coming to our new hospital is the Therapy Garden—a specially designed outdoor space to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Located at the front of the hospital, just outside the therapy department, this garden will include a variety of surfaces and features—such as inclines, steps, pebbles, and more—allowing therapy patients to practice and improve their gait in a safe, natural environment. We’re also creating a sensory area to enhance the therapeutic experience, especially for our young patients with sensory needs.

The Therapy Garden is made possible thanks to generous donations from Charles Crabtree, Denise Babinski, Dr. Chavala, and many others.

The HCCH Foundation has supported countless initiatives—scholarships for employees to continue their education, a patient transportation van, upgraded equipment, and so much more. Your donations make a real difference!

Pulmonology & Sleep Care update at HCCH

We’re pleased to share an update regarding pulmonology and sleep services at Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH) in Bethany, MO.

Dr. Sam Patel will be taking over care for pulmonology patients, continuing access to close-to-home specialty care. In addition, Dr. Eveloff will be returning to assist with sleep patients.

Patients with upcoming appointments will receive a letter with additional information. No action is needed at this time unless contacted by our staff.

🎂 Nothing Bundt Cakes is coming to HCCH! 🎂

Join us Wednesday, December 17, from 12–2 pm for a sweet treat that gives back. Nothing Bundt Cakes will be set up in the front lobby, right in front of the Gift Shop (enter through Registration). The sale is open to employees and the public, while supplies last.

Bundlets will be available, including two gluten-free options:

Miles for Miles supports cancer care close to home

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the 2025 Miles for Miles Cancer Walk raised $10,581.60 for the Harrison County Cancer Transportation Fund, sponsored by the HCCH Foundation.

These funds help Harrison County residents with travel-related expenses during cancer treatment—because access to care shouldn’t depend on how far you have to drive.

We’re grateful to every sponsor, walker, volunteer, and donor who made this event possible. Your support makes a real difference for neighbors across our community. 💗

🫁 We’re Hiring: Respiratory Therapist (Nights)

Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH) is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our Cardio-Pulmonary team for night shifts (Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) at our Bethany, MO campus.

In this role, you’ll help deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients close to home—monitoring treatments, supporting clinical teams, and making a real difference when it matters most. New grads are welcome, and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.
