Join YogaLove for Yoga Nidra (“Conscious Sleep”) A practice of deep and immersive healing. ❤️‍🩹

Safely soothe the subconscious as healing benefits effortlessly sink in. (BYO: pillows/blankets.)

Ten minutes of Nidra is said to be equivalent to an hour of sleep (3hrs = 30 minutes.)

Benefits are increased when intentional and moderate physical movement precedes Nidra. This session will begin with a brief introduction leading into a gentle/moderate flow (to enhance effects) before landing in Savasana for just over 30 min.

You will be led through subtle, micro-movements and breath cues to assist brainwave shifts into a state similar to lucid dreaming. From a beta waves to alpha, from alpha waves to theta, and even theta waves into delta wave states. Improves psychological, physiological, mental and emotional wellness. ✌️

This is not just a “basics” workshop, it is an opportunity to grow and refine your practice regardless of experience.
Class will include a breakdown of posture, providing both demonstration and hands-on adjustments.
Class will end with an extended savasana with massage and essential oils.
Props will be incorporated, it is encouraged that you bring a yoga blanket if you have one, and a journal to take notes!!

One of our favorite events of the year is coming up, the winter solstice 🌖 💕
The winter solstice marks the beginning of winter.
It is the shortest day and longest night of the year.
It symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and the return of light.

In yoga one of the ways we celebrate the solstice is by honoring the sun with a series of 108 Sun Salutations!! This practice is energizing, and challenging, but most of all fun.
This year the solstice practice will be led by Theo .mccauley 🧘‍♂️
