CUPPING MARKS 👀 What do the colors actually mean?
Not all cupping marks are the same — and darker doesn’t mean “bad.” It tells a story about circulation and stagnation in the tissue.
✨ Light Pink / Light Red
Mild stagnation. Good circulation overall. The body moves blood and oxygen efficiently in that area.
🔥 Medium Red
Moderate stagnation. This is common in areas of tension, overuse, or stress. The tissue needed a little extra help moving things out.
🩸 Deep Red / Purple
More significant stagnation. Usually shows up where there’s chronic tightness, old tension patterns, or poor circulation. It doesn’t mean injury — it means that area has been holding on for a while.
You may also notice tiny traces of fluid after removing the cup. Sometimes there’s a small amount of plasma (clear/yellowish fluid) at the surface. This happens when superficial capillaries release fluid due to strong stagnation — it’s not the same as bleeding, and it’s a normal response in certain areas.
Your body is detoxing, releasing, and restoring flow.
Every mark fades. Every session moves you forward.
Your body speaks — cupping just helps it be heard. 💆🏽♀️
