🌳Forest Friends🍁
Our small OT group design offers your child the individualized attention they deserve while engaging in unique outdoor experiences that promote independence and confidence. Together we focus on building developmentally appropriate skills, such as: fine motor, gross motor, strength, balance & coordination, social skills & play, problem solving, and sensory regulation.
Each week we will explore a new book and engage in creative activities together, based on our theme.
✏️Ready, Set, Write!
This OT group is designed for those little adventurers who are ready to start learning how to write or those who need a little extra help fine tuning the process. In this group we will go through the foundational skills of writing and move into shape and letter formation. We will utilize all of the “tools” the great outdoors has to offer us and engage in sensory rich activities that promote visual motor skills, fine motor strength and coordination, & core strength and stability.
🐛Developmental Play Groups🐞
Our weekly play groups are a bit different, because they are not designed to be “therapy” but rather a fun, interactive enrichment group. Each group is supported by an occupational therapist to encourage age appropriate developmental play skills. This is a great opportunity to get your little ones into the great outdoors for good old fashioned messy play. Parents are encouraged to ask questions and discuss concerns with the OT on staff while taking full advantage of meeting and getting to know other families in our area.
Participating in this group is a great way to give your child the EDGE they deserve! Nature’s Edge!
