That portly gent from the North Pole will once again pay a visit to the Danbury Railway Museum and you can take a short ride in a vintage train through the historic railyard to visit him. This is a major fund-raising event for the museum and will take place on Saturdays and Sundays, November 29 and 30, December 6-7, 13-14, 21-22, and Monday 12/22. The museum will be open each day from 1:30pm to 9:00pm (see exceptions below). Reservations are required for this very popular event as it sold out last year. Due to the unique nature of this event (see the web site at CTSantaTrain.org), walk-in sales will not be available.

Get in shape now and join the Brookfield Lions as we host the 39th Annual New Year's Day Run for Sight 4-Miler! All monies raised go to supporting the Connecticut Lions Eye Research Foundation and other local charities. Free long sleeve custom race shirts for first 100 registrants, along with medals, prizes and pies for top finishers!

We have also created a NEW 4 Seasons Challenge opportunity, partnering with Brookfield Parks and Rec and BHS National Honor Society. This is a new opportunity to save $5 per race, receive 4 cool shirts (if you are in the first 100 registrants), and a cool 4 Seasons gift.
