We’re proud to share highlights from our time at the 11th Annual Certified Recovery Support Specialist Conference in Gadsden, Alabama.

Our lead Outreach Coordinator, Macee, took the stage to showcase the real impact of ONEBox® , our life-saving opioid overdose response technology that has already helped save 500+ lives across the United States. We want to give a heartfelt Hero Highlight to our incredible partners down in Alabama.

Shane and the entire team at ROSS
have been doing truly life saving work.

By partnering with their local faith community, they’ve helped install ONEbox units everywhere from churches to shelters to vital resource centers, placing hope directly into the hands of the people who need it most.

These boxes do more than hold Naloxone. They provide training, build confidence in those who may one day have to step in during an overdose, and create immediate access to life saving knowledge and medication. They also serve as a bridge, connecting people who are struggling to the resources and support that can help change their lives. At R3 we don’t just want to preserve lives in the moment we want to connect those lives to loving organizations equipped to help them.

Because of leaders like Shane and the ROSS team, communities are stronger, more prepared, and more compassionate.

Together, we are working toward a world where no person battling addiction has to die from this disease.

Rise Above just received funding to expand overdose prevention across the New River Valley. Chris Alderman will lead the installation and community trainings.
