Metro Move Fest

The event will host a Nesfield Performance 5K Classic, Rotary Wheel Race and Spirit Club Relay and a series of other fitness-focused events for all ages.

The Nesfield Performance Foundation (NPF) is honored to host the 1st annual Metro Move Fest on Sunday May 21, 2023 where the Foundation’s commitment to helping others perform better in life will extend to the Bethesda / Chevy Chase community. The Nesfield Performance Foundation will partner with two local organizations — Metro Bethesda Rotary Foundation (MBRF) and The Spirit Club Foundation (SCF) to advance the shared goals of promoting fitness, community, and inclusivity. The event will take place at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School (4301 East-East Highway, Bethesda, Maryland 20814). Proceeds from the event will benefit Metro Bethesda Rotary Foundation (MBRF) and The Spirit Club Foundation (SCF).

Metro Move Fest is about holistic movement for every body. Join us in the Yoga & Fitness Area for live yoga demonstrations that will get you moving and stretching!

Join us for the So What Else Bag Donation Derby at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School! This unique race features teams of two—one “Horse” and one “Jockey”—competing to fill five donation bags with food and dried goods for families in need. While there can only be one first-place team, everyone wins when we come together to support our community.

Come out and show these local businesses some love while you enjoy a day of races, yoga, and team challenges!

Have you ever done a Kentucky Derby–themed relay for a cause? Now you can!

At Metro Move Fest’s So What Else Bag Donation Derby, multiple teams of two — one “Horse” and one “Jockey” — will race across different stations to fill donation bags with food and dried goods for So What Else. The first team to successfully fill five So What Else donation bags wins the race — but everyone wins when we support families in need.

So What Else is a nonprofit that provides essential supplies to local families and youth. Your fun = someone else’s support.

Calling runners of all ages to be our LAST (Hu)MAN STANDING!

It’s a race not about distance, but about endurance. It's the ultimate test of stamina, mental toughness, and pacing strategy.

All runners start together. Every lap, the required finish time gets shorter. Don’t make the time cutoff? You’re out. The race keeps going until there’s only one person left.

There will be 2 races - a competitive race and a race just for fun.

All Runners (competitive and fun run) meet on the track at 10:45am to warm up and prep for the race.

The Race & Remote 200 is a one-of-a-kind showdown combining sprinting and remote-control car racing in one thrilling, action-packed event.
Race 100 meters on your own two feet, then race a remote car around the track.
Do it on your own, or do it with a parent, partner, sibling, or friend.
Bring your own RC car or use one of ours — either way, you’re in for a wild ride!
