There are 5 major things to consider with menopause

1. Estrogen systemically
2. Progesterone systemically especially if there’s a uterus
3. Testosterone systemically
4. Vaginal hormones to prevent UTI and treat GSM
5. Vulvar vestibule hormones for introital pain

It was mentioned many times at the FDA expert roundtable on Menopause & HRT that there weren't enough clinicians taught how to manage menopause. We didn't learn it in med school, but we can definitely learn it now!

I also have a free gsm course and guide of how to prescribe local hormones

Wow. Many people won’t understand what it means to have the post this.

To have them publicly post this and put out the new guidelines in genitourinary syndrome of menopause is a huge leap forward in women’s health

Woman are half the population but make up only 10% of practicing urologists.

Want to learn how to prescribe vaginal hormones?

Vaginal Hormones:
- prevent urinary tract infections, sepsis and death
- fix urinary frequency, urgency, and leakage
- they help lubrication, pain with s*x and satisfaction
- they have NEVER been shown to cause cancer of any kind or blood clots

As of 2025 there are now guidelines in place to teach out how and why

Psychiatry should be all over hormone therapy and menopause care.

And yet they aren’t.

They are told it’s not in their scope of practice.

But they deal with post partum depression, PMDD, PMS, all sorts of hormonal mental health changes.

Why aren’t estrogen, progesterone and testosterone in their toolbox 🧰

Unless we empower our colleagues to start writing prescriptions and getting comfortable in the space we change nothing.

Psychiatrists do much scarier and more dangerous things every day.

Look how our course is changing how confident clinicians can be prescribing!?

Step by step. We do the work.

Reviews are starting to come in!

We must roll up our sleeves and do the work to change how women are cared for in perimenopause and menopause.

No grownups are coming to save the day

We have so much work to do.

Do you know anyone who may want a deeper dive and learn how to prescribe hormone therapy?

Would love for you to share this

S*x pills. Federal prosecution. Supplements.

And I get quoted!

Eduard Yusupov and Diana Fuzailov sold supplements through their company, Love Potion Inc., that they claimed were natural. The authorities needed tractor-trailers to remove all of the pills.
