Avoiding hormone therapy doesn’t make your patients safer.

It often leaves patients untreated.
Patients suffer unnecessarily

They go to online clinics instead

Or worse—get misinformation

You lose trust and confidence

The risk isn’t learning hormone therapy.
The risk is never learning it properly.

Early Adopters learn how to prescribe safely, thoughtfully, and within their scope.

If you’re comfortable prescribing Wellbutrin then Addyi should be in your toolbox too

Addyi is fda approved for low libido that bothers you. A condition called HSDD

Prescription
Addyi 100mg
1 tab po qhs

Use PhilRx pharmacy for the cheapest pricing.

If it’s not covered by insurance it’s $100/mo. Try it for 3
Months because it takes that long to know if it works

Take at bedtime as the sleep benefits can be magical.

Side effects are mild and most patients are asleep and don’t have them.

Shout out to sprout and for getting approval for menopause patients!!!

We have so much work to do.

Another day. Another study that shows how much work we have ahead.

Big database.

2.8 MILLION patients with a diagnosis of genitourinary syndrome of menopause.

72% did not get a prescription.

This condition can be cured and urinary tract infections can be prevented.

Do better

Want to learn how to prescribe vaginal hormones??

Vaginal Hormones:
- prevent urinary tract infections, sepsis and death
- fix urinary frequency, urgency, and leakage
- they help lubrication, pain with s*x and satisfaction
- they have NEVER been shown to cause cancer of any kind or blood clots

As of 2025 there are now guidelines in place to teach out how and why

Had a great time in Burke VA at this awesome community health fair

When I came to DC after my fellowship in 2017 I tried to meet every pelvic floor physical therapist and s*x therapist I could in the area.

As a s*x doctor I can’t do my job without a multidisciplinary team.

The friends I have made along the way are the loveliest.

When they ask you to show up to a community health fair of course you say yes!

The message is simple.

Quality of life matters.

Education can help you decide what you need next.

You need a pit crew to support you and as the driver you are in control of who joins your crew

Mental health
Musculoskeletal health
Hormone health

And of course always good to get devices at .blooms

Thanks for having me and .cothran
