Licensed Psychologist

The Maryland Cognitive Behavioral Treatment Center (MCBT) is seeking a part-time or full-time licensed psychologist for a growing private practice based in Bethesda, Maryland. We specialize in cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) and exposure-based treatments for individuals who are struggling with Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders and Trauma Related Disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in CBT and have direct experience conducting exposure-based treatments. The candidate embodies a curious mind, takes a creative approach to manualized treatment, values collaboration, and can work independently. Due to COVID-19 the psychologist will be offering services to patients via teletherapy using a secure online platform. The candidate must have a valid and current independent clinical license to practice in Maryland. Licensure in the surrounding Virginia and/or Washington D.C. is a plus. Candidates who are in the process of licensure are welcome to apply.

MCBT is a thriving fee-for-service practice founded by Dr. Sahar Esfahani in 2019. We are looking to grow and provide specialized exposure-based treatments to individuals across the lifespan. Dr. Esfahani is passionate about providing treatment to patients using evidence-based interventions through culturally sensitive and value driven approaches.

Applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and references to Dr. Sahar Esfahani at [Email hidden]
