Bethesda Reiki Laura works in a quiet and relaxing professional office space. Her sessions are 60 minute appointments and are scheduled by calling 202-659-4675.

Laura will explain the Reiki session process and ask if there are any specific needs. The client will be lying on a massage table fully clothed with just their shoes removed. The Reiki session is a non-invasive touch with Laura's hands placed and held on a series of energy center locations. These start at the head and end on the feet. Don't abandon yourself. Not when you're sick. Not when you're tired.

Just me over here, falling in love with everything. ❤️

A LOVE LETTER TO HUMANITY

I love the little hand signals
that strangers flutter at each other in cars
to mean "that was so kind of you"
and "please, go ahead."

I love the way everyone smiles at babies,
because seeing one is like inhaling hope.

I love the way crying is contagious,
because sometimes our pain is so big,
we need to see that it makes others flood too.

I love the way we never know how it will go,
and yet we wake up each day and try.

I love that the lonely ones
get to look up at the stars at night,
at those little pin pricks in the sheet of sky,
letting in some light.
