NCCPeds Chief Resident 2015-16 and recent core faculty, CDR Lara, is helping build NICU bridges overseas with his team at USNH Sigonella:

“Access to world-class NICU care from our host nation partners is a cornerstone in our ability to bring families overseas,” said Cmdr. Sebastian Lara, USNH Sigonella Pediatrician. “Without this system in place, many service members couldn’t take orders to Sigonella. These services allow military families to grow while stationed here, and that means warfighters can deploy knowing their loved ones are supported.”
