“Nova” is our primary TMS machine used for patients undergoing TMS treatment at our practice. Nova was named by our TMS technician due to the term’s astronomical meaning – a bright star that suddenly appears in the sky and releases immense energy. At Bethesda Psychiatry, we aim to create a similar effect in patients struggling with major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, treatment resistant depression and more. If you think TMS is right for you, reach out to our office at 202-999-5712!
