An NIH-supported study found that older adults who ate a diet rich in leafy greens and other vegetables, fish, beans, and whole grain - called the MIND diet - were less likely to have problems with thinking and memory.

As the U.S. population ages, more adults are developing thinking and memory problems, called mild cognitive impairment. A new study showed that people who regularly ate most similar to the MIND diet were less likely to have problems with thinking and memory.
