Valley Sports and Spine Center We provide chiropractic care, as well as fitness and weight loss programs.

Dr. Kyle Werkheiser provides care for many common injuries of the spine and extremities. Our goal is to get you out of pain quickly whether you are suffering from pain due to an auto accident, athletic injury, work injury, or everyday chronic pain. Over the past five years our weight-loss and fitness programs have helped many reach their health goals. Our director of fitness and weight-loss services, Meredith Brunner is a certified personal trainer and has a passion for helping people regain health through exercise, better nutrition, and smarter eating habits. Our patients enjoy the benefits from the latest progressive techniques and cutting edge modalities, with decompression therapy, and laser therapy on site. Our laser is the LiteCure 1000, a class-4 laser used by staff doctors for many NFL, NBA, and MLB teams. We offer recovery based treatment for auto, personal, and work-related injuries and also treat a large variety of conditions: back and neck pain, shoulder/elbow/wrist injuries, pulled muscles,etc. We have two therapists on staff at all times, with convenient office hours Monday through Friday. Dr. Werkheiser is committed to providing pain relief for many symptoms and conditions so that you can have a higher quality of life.

Spicy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Grill season is here and what better way to celebrate than with these Spicy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers! 🌶️🍗 Perfect for any BBQ or family dinner.

_____Ingredients:_____

- 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

_____Directions:_____

1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the soaked skewers.
5. Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
6. Serve hot, garnished with extra grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning if desired.

Healing Soup ~ this is a lovely ~ and simple ~ soup for any respiratory or inflammatory ailments, or just to give your overall immunity system a boost...🌿🍋🌱
Ingredients 🌿1 tsp each of rosemary, thyme, sage, ginger & turmeric; 1 bay leaf; 3-4 cloves of garlic; coconut oil 🌿1 onion, 2 carrots, 2 zucchinis, mushrooms, potatoes & a bunch of kale
Instructions 🌿 sauté onions, garlic & ginger in oil; add mushrooms, carrots, zucchini & potatoes. Cover completely with veggie stock, add herbs, simmer till cook. Season with sea salt and black pepper (pepper is important for uptake of the curcumin in the turmeric) to taste 🌿🍋🌱
