Collagen and Fascia
Fascia is the connective tissue network that surrounds and supports muscles, joints, organs, and nerves throughout the body.
It plays an important role in how the body moves, adapts to stress, and maintains structural balance.
Collagen is one of the primary building blocks of fascia and other connective tissues.
As collagen production naturally declines with age, some patients choose to support connective tissue health nutritionally alongside hands-on care.
I often recommend (and use) berry flavored Thorne collagen peptides, it dissolves in water. It’s available through my Fullscript dispensary for patients interested in additional support.
Supporting the body can include both hands-on care and thoughtful nutrition.
