Darcie Carlton, L.Ac., Dipl., O.M., is a Board Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist licensed in the State of Illinois. She graduated from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago/Evanston with a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine combined with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition. Her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine included over 900 hours of clinical practice
in addition to classroom instruction. During her clinical experience in Chicago, she assessed and treated a wide variety of ailments including back pain, hip pain, neck pain, knee pain, arm/shoulder pain, wrist and hand pain, as well as migraines, insomnia, stress, fatigue, PMS, menopause, digestive issues, asthma, and the common cold. Her modalities include acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, electro-stimulation, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, tui na massage, herbal medicine and nutritional counseling. In the few moments of spare time between taking care of her 2 ½-year-old and newborn baby, she enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time outdoors, and brewing beer with her husband. Her family recently relocated to the Quad City area after living in downtown Chicago for the last 15 years. She is excited to take advantage of her new yard by adopting a dog and planting a garden this summer.
