ORA is proud to be the first healthcare provider in the U.S. to introduce this scanner, bringing next-level orthopedic imaging technology to patients in the Quad Cities.

ORA physicians, Dr. Andrew Bries and Dr. J.C. Clark, helped give high school students a hands-on look at the world of orthopedics this morning at Rock Island High School!

The workshop was led by Dr. Carla Bridges, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Dayton Children's Hospital in Ohio, in collaboration with Zimmer Biomet. Students took part in a Sawbones-style orthopedic experience, giving them the opportunity to explore surgical techniques and the impact of interactive learning in medicine.

As the proud team physician for Rock Island High School for the past 16 years, Dr. Clark was especially excited to support students through this educational opportunity.

On Sunday, ORA’s Titleist Performance Institute-certified physical therapist, Nick Jagush, and orthopedic surgeon, Dr. J.C. Clark, took members of the Moline High School Golf Team through a program designed to maximize distance off the tee. 🏌️‍♂️

Dr. Clark lectured on the importance of equipment fitting and swing accuracy to “hit bombs,” along with the statistical advantages that come with longer drives. Meanwhile, Nick demonstrated golf-specific flexibility and strengthening exercises to help increase clubhead speed.

The golf team left with a list of summer golf workouts to supplement their usual off-season strength training program. With faster clubhead speeds and longer drives in their future, the Moline golf team is excited to get back out on the course this summer and fall! ⛳
