One last ride 🤠

Books are 99% full. Heart is 100. I'd love to fill these last two spots on my last day at SugarMe.

After 1/20, I'm referring sugaring clients to Anna and Kiara at SugarMe, because they are incredible practitioners and humans. Anna and I have been colleagues and passionate advocates for Sugaring since our initial Esthetics education in 2014. We are trauma informed sugarists, with over a decade of experience across several lines, formulations, and home care products. We are the first studios in Iowa to offer probiotic sugaring, which boasts incredible benefits to the skin biome and professional results. We learn together and grow together.

We are enjoying the Fall season offerings here, but I just wanted to thank everyone again for supporting us in Locals Love Us!

We made all categories we were nominated in, including 2nd place in Make-up artist! ( We no longer offer in-house MUA, but we appreciate the love!)

Ahhhh! I've been receiving many congratulations and haven't yet posted, but Mandala made the QC Times' Best of Quad Cities 2025 list!

We are #2 in Massage and #3 in Spa!!

We did it thanks to YOU! I opted not to purchase advance voting and was awestruck to see so many people letting us know they had casted votes for Mandala.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me the privilege of providing care in my hometown area. Our Story

Since 2014, Mandala Bodywork and Skin Therapeutics has been an Eastern Iowa spa dedicated to a natural approach to wellness, pain management, and natural esthetics. We are the first and only SugarLove certified sugarists in Iowa.

Mandala offers a variety of services: from bodywork therapies, to sugaring, organic facial services, to make-up artistry. I am constantly taking in new techniques to further incorporate into the studio. I have furthered my education in Swedish therapy, Thai bodywork, Organic cold sugaring and Myofascial/ triggerpoint. No one body is alike, so my work is tailored to each client as we work toward wellness goals. Our general philosophy is to help clients increase their own awareness above all, but also to work to educate the client while working toward the same goal.
