✅ Tip of the Month: Practice the "Check-In"!! ✅
We often spend so much time taking care of others- at work, at home, and in our community—that we forget to check in on ourselves.
The Practice: Set an alarm on your phone for a "Self Check-In" once a day. When it goes off, simply ask yourself: "What does my body need right now?"
Often, the answer is simpler than we think:
💦 A glass of water.
🙆🏽 A five-minute stretch.
🧘 A few deep breaths away from a screen.
🌤️ Stepping outside for fresh air.
Why it Works: Chronic stress builds up when we ignore small needs. By pausing to address them throughout the day, you prevent burnout and keep your "stress tank" from overflowing.
