Microneedling + PRP Healing Process

came in for microneedling with PRP last week and was sweet enough to document her healing process. As you can see immediately after the skin is red and feels like a minor sunburn for 2-4 days. Microneedling is minimally invasive — tiny needles pe*****te into the skin creating thousands of microchanels. However when combined with PRP recovery time is cut nearly in half! Some light peeling and or flaking during day 4-5 is completely normal.

A few sessions of Microneedling + PRP can boost collagen production up to 400% — Even if you have great skin, it is important to do collagen boosting treatments beginning in your twenty’s as our bodies begin to produce less and less collagen. If you want to age backwards, starting microneedling + prp a few times a year will really help to fight against aging.

This client has done ONE session of morpheus8 for skin tightening and rejuvenation. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment for the face and body. It combines micro needling + and radio frequency to achieve deep factional remodeling. It directs energy towards the adipose fat that is notorious for creating sagging skin. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin tissues of the face and body we are able to not only tighten the skin but lift, contour, reduce pore size, improve acne scars and fine lines and wrinkles.

As you can see not only have the fine lines and wrinkles improved but the QUALITY of the skin has been greatly improved. The skin is not only tighter but more firm, smooth and youthful.

“What do you recommend for acne scars?”

We have multiple treatments at our office that can help with different types of acne scars: Morpheus8, Microneedling+ prp, Signature Snatched Facial, & our Vi Peel.

What is the best treatment for me? The truth is there is no “one fits all” answer to this. What works for one person may not work for the other. Some may need to stick to one treatment for best results while others may need a combination of treatments.
