This is a wonderful patient in her mid twenties who presented to my office with interest in breast reduction surgery because of large, heavy, droopy breasts that were causing a lot of back, neck, and shoulder issues. The patient also had some fullness in the bra fat area (where the breast meets the armpit), so we discussed doing some liposuction in those areas to create a better contour. The patient overall wished to be on the small side of the spectrum, so we planned a pretty aggressive breast reduction using an inverted-T scar pattern (also known as an anchor scar pattern). During surgery I removed close to a pound of breast tissue per side and performed a full lift and bra fat liposuction.

Post- procedure, you can see how much longer her torso looks, how much perkier her breasts are, and how much more proportionate they are as well. Just as- or more- importantly, her back, neck and shoulder issues were completely resolved. The patient is very happy about how she feels, how she looks, how she fits in her clothes, in addition to all the other benefits that she gained from having a smaller, more youthful appearing breasts.

This patient was a very nice female in her late thirties who was interested in breast augmentation. She also had relatively low position ni**le ar**lar complexes as well as ni**les that were over projected and created issues when she was wearing clothes and extra fullness in the bra fat, which is the area where the armpit meets the breast.

So for surgery, I performed a bilateral breast augmentation. In her case, I used Sientra moderate plus profile implants, and because of a natural asymmetry, I used a 455cc implant on the left and a 540 on the right, which are larger than typical implants I use but for her body it fit well and matched what her goals were. At the same time, I did circumar**lar mastopexies, which are tightening around the ar**las to shift the ni**les into a more centralized position and to tighten the skin around the implant. Finally I did a reduction of the ni**les themselves so they didn't project as much, and also liposuction in the bra fat area to create a better contour to the side of the breast.

She recovered very nicely after surgery and was extremely happy with her new, fuller, more feminine and more symmetrical appearance.

This patient is a lovely female in her mid 30s who came to my office with concerns about back, neck and shoulder discomfort due to the weight and drooping of her breasts. She wished for her breasts to be smaller, lighter and perkier. Additionally she had some fullness in the bra fat areas (where the breast meets the armpit) which bothered her. I recommended a breast reduction (which includes a breast lift) as well as liposuction of the bra fat area for the most refined results. During surgery I performed an anchor scar reduction for the tightest and most youthful appearing breasts with lipo-contouring of the bra fat areas. Approximately 200 grams of tissue was removed from each breast with the reduction, and 75cc of aspirate was removed with liposuction from each bra fat area. After surgery she recovered quickly and was very happy with her smaller, perkier breasts which not only fixed her back, neck and shoulder pain but also elongated her torso and created a more athletic and refined appearance to her chest.

This patient is a 50-year-old female who had previously undergone bilateral saline augmentation, which had left her with laterally displaced and severely rippling breasts. I felt a bilateral complex revision with exchange from saline to larger silicone cohesive gel implants, inferior lateral pocket tightening with Strattice reinforcement, superior and medial capsulotomies, circumar**lar mastopexies, power-assisted liposuction of flanks and medial thighs, and fat grafting to the breasts would give her the best overall result.

During surgery I placed Allergan Natrelle Inspira Soft touch full profile cohesive silicone gel implants in addition to performing the above mentioned techniques (Strattice, mastopexy, lateral breast fat grafting) in order to improve her breast appearance and rippling. After surgery the patient recovered quickly and was very happy with her results.

EXPLANT / LIFT: This patient is a 52-year-old female who presented to my practice with interest in implant removal (explant) and breast revision surgery. She had previously undergone both a breast augmentation with textured saline implants and a breast lift by another surgeon, and was unhappy with her results. She had an oversized and distorted appearance to her breasts, and wished to be smaller and more natural overall.

Prior to surgery, I performed a preoperative implant deflation, where I removed the saline from her implants with a small IV needle to allow her breasts to shrink smaller and return closer to their original appearance. After a few weeks, I followed the deflation with her actual surgery, which included a definitive breast implant removal with complete capsulectomies and a breast lift with a small tissue reduction.

After surgery she recovered quickly and was extremely happy with her smaller, perkier, more youthful appearing breasts and her longer and leaner appearing torso.

She was also very pleased that I was able to create beautiful breasts that only used her natural tissues so she wouldn’t have to worry about implant exchange or maintenance in the future.

This patient is a 24-year-old female who presented to my office with complaints of having breast sizes smaller than desired. She also had excess fullness in the bra fat with the left side being worse than the right. Finally, wished to have a correction of her inverted ni**les. We had a long discussion with regards to the inverted ni**le correction as this would prevent her from being able to breast-feed. However, the patient did not plan on having kids in the future so breast-feeding was not an issue for her.

During surgery I placed 355cc smooth round moderate plus profile cohesive gel . I also performed of the bra fat and inverted ni**le corrections.

After surgery, she recovered quickly and was very happy with her fuller breast size, normal appearing ni**les, and improved chest contours.

This patient was experiencing enlarged , which can be rather embarrassing for some male patients. I performed a correction surgery with a bit of liposuction to smooth out the area and removal of excess tissue gave this patient a strong, flat, and masculine appearance in the chest.

This patient is a 38 year old female who presented to my medical office with complaints regarding breast droopiness and asymmetry. The patient had noted significant changes in her breasts after having children, and she wished to have larger, perkier, more symmetric breasts.⁣
For this patient I recommended a silicone gel breast augmentation (placed under the muscle)with an anchor scar mastopexy (breast lift) to give her the best and most natural result. ⁣
After the final implants that were chosen were placed (Mentor smooth, round, moderate plus profile cohesive silicone gel), I performed an anchor scar breast lift. This lift allowed me to shrink the size of the ar**las (which were NOT detached from the breasts during surgery) and also enabled me to create a rounder, perkier appearing breast.⁣
The patient did very well after surgery and she and her husband were thrilled with her incredible improvement.⁣

This 24-year-old woman from the Phoenix area met with me to discuss how she could change her small breast size. She had always been very self-conscious about her small breasts, and felt they were disproportionate to the rest of her body. I felt that this patient would do best with the new Sientra "gummy bear" anatomical silicone implants, placed through an under the breast (inframammary) incision and under the muscles for the most natural appearance. At her follow-up appointment, I noted that this woman was healing very well and was extremely pleased with her natural-looking new breast size. She was very happy that her breasts were now more proportionate to the rest of her body and flattered her figure beautifully.⁣⁣
