Happy Wellness Wednesday!

As we continue through our Identity & Diversity Month, it’s important to take time to understand who we are and to learn about others too.

When we reflect on our own experiences and really listen to people with openness, we build self awareness and empathy. These are what help us be kinder to each other.

Kindness shows up in the small things we do every day. By respecting our differences and supporting one another, we can create a school and community where everyone feels seen, valued, and like they belong.

Happy Wellness Wednesday!

For NormanAid’s Diversity & Identity Month, we’d like to highlight and recognize the Beverly Hills Health and Human Relations Commission.

The Commission is committed to fostering a just, equitable, and multicultural society by working to reduce conflict, discrimination, prejudice, and stereotyping based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other arbitrary factor. They also advise and support programs that strengthen positive human relations and promote the overall health and safety of the Beverly Hills community.

This week is their Kindness Week, and we had the pleasure of collaborating with them yesterday at our Kindness Fest. Each Commission member shared what kindness means to them and what motivates them to be part of the Commission.

Thank you for the meaningful work you do for our city and for helping us build a more connected and compassionate community.
