Mary is only four-months post-op from her quad blepharoplasty! We did a basic upper blepharoplasty AND a lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning.

The main goal for Mary was to keep these results looking as natural as possible. You’d never know she had surgery, but you can still tell she looks refreshed and rejuvenated!

One of the most popular questions I get asked is about how I prevent the scarring of lip lifts…

The number one answer? Excellent suturing!
You also have to be extremely meticulous with the amount of skin that you’re going to remove as well. My attention to detail and precision are two of the things I pride myself most on!

Aside from those two elements, there are also some ancillary treatments you can have done at Nassif MD to help with healing, such as a BBL laser, a CO2Lift mask, LightStim (red light therapy) & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy!

Why do some facelifts look “pulled” or “overdone”?

It’s mainly due to the direction of the lift. Our goal is to pull everything back up to its natural position, not to pull it laterally causing that “wind-blown” look, overdo the eyebrows or take too much skin from the upper eyes, leaving you with that “surprised” look!

I like to say, “Put it back up to where it used to be!” That’s how you create a natural, beautiful facial rejuvenation.

Did you know that in low doses, Accutane can actually help reduce nasal tip swelling following a rhinoplasty?

As promised, here is my 55-year old facial rejuvenation patient five weeks post-op after the swelling and bruising subsided. The last post featured results from three days post-op (right after the removal of her hemostatic net) and her results at 1-week! These posts perfectly illustrate the transformational journey my patients typically go through over the first month. 💜

Recap:
I performed a deep plane facelift & neck lift with a submandibular gland preservation. Whether or not we remove the glands, fully, partially or not at all, based on how low the glands are, is discussed with each patient prior to surgery.

She looks at least a decade younger and both she and I are so excited about these results!
