Here is an asymptomatic eye with corneal keratitis from dry eyes and contact lenses! Properly fitted lenses decrease chance of this finding and treating dry eyes helps bring proactive in eye care. Patient came in for routine exam and contact lens fitting. This area can become infected if not properly treated as it’s an open area for bacteria 🦠 to enter. That’s why lenses have to be fitted the proper way for ultimate corneal health and not overly worn with extended hours!
