In the therapy room we don’t try to get rid of emotions.

We get curious about them.

Your anger, sadness, anxiety, and fear all carry information about your needs, your boundaries, and your experiences.

The goal isn’t to silence feelings.
The goal is to build a healthier relationship with them.

That’s where real change begins.

A gentle reminder as we start the week.

Healing isn’t about becoming a perfect version of yourself.
It’s about learning how to sit with your emotions, understand your patterns, and respond to life with more awareness and compassion.

Growth happens in small moments — the pause before reacting, the boundary you finally set, the way you speak to yourself when things feel hard.

Take it one step at a time this week.

So many people quietly carry the pressure of feeling like they should be further along.

But healing is not a race.
Growth is not linear.

The work you are doing internally — learning about yourself, setting boundaries, processing old wounds — is some of the most meaningful work you will ever do.

Be patient with your process.

As the week comes to a close, take a moment to acknowledge yourself.

Maybe everything didn’t go exactly as planned.
Maybe some things felt harder than expected.

But you showed up.
You tried.
You kept going.

Growth often happens quietly in the background of our lives.

Give yourself credit for the effort you made this week.

A quick therapy room tip for today.

When we feel overwhelmed, our nervous system goes into protection mode. Before trying to “fix” the problem, it helps to calm the body first.

Try this simple reset:
• Take a few slow breaths
• Notice tension in your body and soften it
• Name the feeling you’re experiencing

When we slow down the body, the mind often follows.

Small regulation practices can make a big difference.

A gentle reminder for the moms in this community.

Motherhood can hold so many emotions at the same time — love, gratitude, exhaustion, doubt, joy, overwhelm.

Having hard moments doesn’t mean you’re failing.
It means you’re human… navigating one of the biggest transitions of your life.

You don’t have to be perfect to be a good mother.

Your presence, your care, and your love matter more than you realize.

Take a breath today, mama.
You’re doing better than you think.

A small reflection from the therapy room this Tuesday.

Sometimes our reactions feel bigger than the moment we’re in.
That’s often because something deeper has been touched — an old hurt, an unmet need, or a place inside us that once felt unseen.

Instead of asking, “Why am I reacting like this?”
Try asking, “What might this part of me be needing right now?”

Curiosity toward ourselves can open the door to real healing.

Take a gentle pause today and check in with yourself.

"Feeling unstoppable with my 'I TOTALLY GOT THIS' journal by my side. Reminding myself that I am awesome and capable of anything I set my mind to. No more doubting, just pure confidence and determination. Doubt is just a four-letter word, and I'm ready to crush it! 💪🏼 "

The woman learning to set boundaries.
The woman healing old wounds.
The woman becoming a mother.
The woman rediscovering herself after motherhood.
The woman choosing herself for the first time.

Growth is not always loud.
Sometimes it looks like quiet courage.

Today we celebrate all versions of you.

You are evolving.
And that is powerful.

Happy International Women’s Day. 🤍

So honored to be featured in VoyageLA ✨

In this interview, I share more about why I chose to specialize in perinatal mental health and couples therapy — and how my own experiences shaped my passion for supporting women and families through one of life’s biggest transitions.

Motherhood changes everything… including how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Having a space to process those changes isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.

Thank you to VoyageLA for highlighting the importance of maternal mental health and relational support during the postpartum period.
