At-home devices can help with maintenance, glow, and product absorption, but they’re not the same as in-office treatments—and needle depth + hygiene matter.

If you’re doing it at home, keep it conservative (generally ≤0.5mm for beginners) and avoid deeper lengths without professional guidance. Save this before you try it.

Deep plane facelift + neck contouring looks “smooth” on the outside… but underneath, the anatomy is anything but simple.

I was part of a new paper in Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Medicine showing that the depressor labii inferioris (DLI) can have dual innervation—meaning it may receive nerve input from more than one facial nerve branch, not just the one many people focus on.

That’s a big deal because during deep plane facelift and structural neck contouring, the facial nerve branches, SMAS, platysma, muscles, and deeper tissue layers are interwoven—and truly understanding those relationships can be the difference between a safe surgery and avoidable nerve injury.

Invited Keynote Speaker at Cupid Compendium 2025, where I spoke on a modern analytic tools I’ve developed and the role of regenerative medicine in facial rejuvenation and how it guides my approach to deep plane facelifts and neck lifts.

The “Forever 35 Face” has generated a lot of buzz in the media. And while it can produce beautiful results for the right patient, it’s essential to understand that it’s not a universal goal. Whether someone will look balanced, natural, and harmonious with a “Forever 35 Facelift” depends entirely on their anatomy, facial structure, goals, and stage of life.

For me, the goal of plastic surgery is not to turn someone into a different person or to force them into an unrealistic age aesthetic.

It’s to help them feel confident, secure, and aligned with their own sense of beauty — creating outcomes that are refreshed, rejuvenated, and complementary to their unique facial harmony.

Sometimes the most powerful result honors age rather than erasing it.
Other times, a more transformative lift is exactly what elevates a patient’s features.

Once considered taboo, these procedures are now being discussed openly by celebrities and influencers, ushering in a new era of transparency in aesthetics. Many public figures who seem to be “aging backwards” are now crediting their surgeons and sparking thoughtful dialogue about artistry, authenticity, and innovation in facial rejuvenation.

✨ 3 Months Post Upper & Lower Blepharoplasty ✨

At 42, this beautiful patient wanted her reflection to match the vibrant energy she still felt inside. Like many women in their 40s, she noticed her eyelids felt heavy, her eyes looked tired, and it just didn’t feel like “her” anymore.

This is so common. During the late 30s and 40s, hormonal shifts in perimenopause cause collagen and elastin loss, brow descent (ptosis), and eyelid changes that make the eyes appear smaller or more fatigued.

She chose blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) to restore brightness and openness to her eyes. Just 3 months later, her results are refreshed and natural—not “done.” She feels like herself again, with her reflection finally in sync with her spirit.
