Recently, I had the honor of attending the 2026 EROC Global Forum in Dubai for the first time and served as a Master Keynote Lecturer. Here are a few highlights and key insights from the conference.

This year’s lectures and discussions focused on some of the most important advances in facial surgery, including:

✨ Structural neck contouring, addressing the deeper anatomy that defines neck results

The Beauty of Saying “NO” | Episode 2

A 35-year-old patient came in asking for a deep plane facelift — but she wasn’t far enough along in her aging arc to recommend surgery.

This is the truth most people don’t hear: age alone doesn’t decide if you’re a surgical candidate. Your facial structure, skin laxity, jawline definition, and overall progression of aging are what matter most.

In her case, she had great skin health, minimal laxity, and strong jawline definition. Surgery at this stage would have been unnecessary — and potentially disruptive to what already looked naturally youthful.

Instead, we created a plan focused on prevention, maintenance, and long-term skin health, while acknowledging that in the future — especially in the 40s when aging can accelerate — she may become a stronger candidate.

The right procedure at the wrong time is still the wrong decision.
