Losing a friend can feel like losing a part of your own history. They were witnesses to your life, holders of shared secrets, and sources of laughter, comfort, or even creative chaos.

Here are a few ways to care for yourself through this kind of grief:

🖤 Let yourself feel everything.
There’s no right way to grieve. Sadness, anger, numbness, even moments of peace — they can all coexist.

📸 Hold on to memories.
Look at old photos, reread your messages, or tell a favorite story about them out loud. These are not just ways to remember — they are ways to honor.

💬 Talk about it.
With someone who knew them, or even someone who didn’t. Grief is lighter when it’s shared.

🌿 Create something.
A letter to them, a playlist, a walk in a place you used to go — rituals help make sense of the intangible.

🕊️ Give yourself time.
You don’t have to “move on.” Just keep moving through. Healing is not forgetting — it’s finding a way to carry the love forward.

If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. Grief is love with nowhere to go — so be gentle with yourself as you find where it belongs now.🌱❤️🖤
