As of now, LGBTQ+ young people can still contact 988 for specialized crisis services. With federal funding potentially stripped (there was an unofficial leaked draft), we are vulnerable of losing a service that saves thousands of adolescent lives. Thetrevorproject.org has crisis services as well and is a great organization to align with as an ally or sexual/gender minority person. We are seeing this potential lack of federal funding (as soon as September 2025) as inhumane. Thousands of kids use this service daily! #988
