Why you should try this:

✅ Boost Vitamin C: Studies show sprouting can increase Vitamin C availability by up to 1,000%!

✅ Women’s Health: It increases Vitamin K, which is essential for bone density and healthy blood clotting.

✅ Better Digestion: Sprouted beans are much easier on the gut (goodbye, bloating!).

The best part? You don’t need to buy expensive sprouting jars. I show you how to do it with a simple bowl and a strainer you already have in your kitchen.

Does your migraine feel like a forced shutdown?

For many women, a hormonal headache isn't just "pain." It’s the body’s way of screaming, "Stop. Right. Now."

If you find yourself retreating to a dark room every month, waiting for the storm to pass, you are not alone. But you also don't have to be helpless.

In my clinic, we focus on treating the root cause—often a nervous system in overdrive.

We just published a new guide with 3 gentle home remedies you can use today:

🌿The Mineral Hug: Why magnesium (found in soaked almonds and spinach) is nature’s "chill pill" for tight muscles.

☕ The Caffeine Trap: Why that extra cup of coffee might be triggering your pain, and what to sip instead to move stagnation.

🧘‍♀️ The Nervous System Reset: A simple 5-minute sensory exercise to switch your body from "Fight or Flight" to "Rest and Digest."

You deserve to get your day back.

Why massaging your leg can fix your stiff neck

Waking up with a "crick" in your neck is the worst. Your first instinct is probably to rub the sore spot, right?

But in my clinic, I often use a different approach called "Distal Imaging." It’s a gentle way of telling the body to release tension by working on the opposite side of the pain.

If your left neck hurts, we actually look for tender points on your right foot and hand!

In this video, I’m breaking down:
1. The exact line on your leg to massage for instant relief.
2. The "triangle" points on your hand that open up the shoulders.
3. The one movement you must do while pressing these points to make it work.

It’s a simple, drug-free way to show your body some love today.

Are you eating the right nut for your pain? 🥜

Most of us think of nuts as just a healthy snack. But in my clinic, I use them as targeted medicine.

Did you know that in Chinese Medicine, specific nuts are prescribed for specific types of pain?

If you are just grabbing a handful of "mixed nuts," you might be missing the specific remedy your body needs.

We just released a new guide on the blog, breaking down the "Pain-Relief 4":

🧠 For Chronic Back Pain: Why Walnuts are the "Architects" that warm the lower back and fight inflammation with Omega-3s.

For Muscle Cramps: Why the Rambam praised Almonds (and why their magnesium is a game-changer for tight shoulders).

For Weak Knees: The unique power of Chestnuts (the "Fruit of the Kidney") to strengthen tendons and bones.

For Fatigue & Thyroid: The specific dose of Brazil Nuts you need to wake up your metabolism.

Plus: The one mistake most people make with nuts (hint: it involves roasting) that turns healthy oils into inflammatory ones.

Stop guessing with your nutrition. Learn which nut belongs in your daily routine.

Stop treating all nuts as just a "snack." In this guide, we reveal the 4 specific nuts that help soothe muscle cramps, strengthen the lower back, and fight inflammation - and exactly how to eat them so they don't cause bloating.

In my clinic, patients usually describe their pain in one of two ways:

"I feel heavy, weighed down, and puffy."

"I feel stiff, dry, and brittle."

In Western nutrition, we talk about fiber and Omega-3s. But in Chinese Medicine, we look at function. To fix the pain, we need to pick the right tool for the job.

We just published Part 3 of our "Eating for Pain" series on the blog, focusing on Legumes & Seeds.

Inside this week’s article: 🫘 The Drainer: Why Adzuki beans are the best medicine for swollen ankles and "dampness." 🌱 The Lubricator: Why Black Sesame seeds are the go-to for lower back aches and dry knees. 🔥 The Coolant: How Mung beans can calm down hot, red flare-ups. 🥣 The Digestion Hack: My specific method for eating beans without the bloating.

Stop guessing with your diet. Learn which "Stabilizer" your body actually needs.

🛑 Stop avoiding fruit because of the sugar! Your joints might actually need it.

In the clinic, I hear it all the time: "I’m staying away from fruit because I don’t want inflammation."

But here is the truth: There is a massive difference between a candy bar and a cup of blueberries. 🫐

When we combine Western Science with Ancient Chinese Wisdom, we find that specific fruits are actually powerful medicine for "creaky," stiff, or hot joints.

In my latest blog post, I’m breaking down the Top 3 Fruits for Joint Pain that act as natural painkillers:

1️⃣ Papaya: The "Sinew Relaxer" (Great for muscle stiffness)
2️⃣ Berries: The "Blood Nourisher" (Packed with antioxidants)
3️⃣ Watermelon: The "Summer Cooler" ( perfect for red, swollen joints)

💡 PLUS: I share a crucial tip from Natural Medicine about when to eat fruit. (Hint: If you eat it for dessert, you might be doing it wrong!)

Are your joints feeling a little "fiery" lately? 🔥

If you've been dealing with stiffness, aching knees, or that nagging lower back pain, you might feel like your body is working against you. But what if I told you that your food could be the water that cools that fire? 💧🌱

In my latest blog post, "The Ultimate Guide to Anti-Inflammatory Vegetables: Cooling the Fire Within," I'm diving deep into the world of natural healing. We're not just talking about eating your veggies because you "should" - we're exploring how specific plants act as powerful medicine to clear heat, drain swelling, and nourish your joints from the inside out.

We'll chat about: 🌿 Why celery is more than just a crunchy snack (it's a detox powerhouse!). 🥦 How broccoli helps break up "stagnation" in the body. 🥬 The reason leafy greens are essential for nourishing your blood and tendons. 🧄 And why garlic might be your new best friend for circulation.

I also share some ancient wisdom on digestion - because how you eat matters just as much as what you eat.

If your lower back pain feels like a "tight belt" or shoots down your leg, try acupressure.

Think of it like a light switch: The switch is on your arm, but the light turns on in your spine. 💡

THE 3-STEP RESET:
1️⃣ Inner Forearm: Press tender spots on the channel that is located on the line from the thumb to the elbow.
2️⃣ Hand Triangles: Pinch the fleshy web between thumb/index finger.
3️⃣ Outer Forearm: Press around the elbow on the line from the index finger to the elbow.

💃 Sway your hips like a belly dancer while you press! This movement bridges the neurological signal from the arm to the back.

Does your back need this right now? Save this post for your next flare-up! 📌

Before you reach for the painkillers tomorrow morning, I challenge you to look in your spice cabinet first.

I’ve been practicing Chinese Medicine since 2006, and I see so many women suffer from morning stiffness. In this video, I’m teaching you the exact "Warm Cinnamon Hand Soak" protocol I prescribe in my clinic.

Why it works: In TCM, Cinnamon is a powerhouse for warming the channels and unblocking stagnation (pain).

👇 THE RECIPE:
1. Boil 3-4 Cinnamon sticks.
2. Let cool until warm/safe.
3. Soak hands for 10 mins.

The Challenge: Do this for 7 days straight. Watch the video for the full demonstration.

Tell me in the comments: On a scale of 1-10, how stiff were your hands this morning?

Are you guilty of drinking ice water first thing in the morning? 🧊🥶

If you struggle with morning bloating or low energy, that cold glass of water might be the culprit.

In this video, I explain why I never start my day with cold water - and why your gut prefers warmth.

🔥 The Eastern View: Think of your digestion like a fire. It needs heat to break down food. Ice water puts that fire out! 🔬 The Western View: Cold water constricts your blood vessels, slowing down circulation to your stomach. Warm water does the opposite - it relaxes your stomach muscles and preps your body for digestion.

Try the Warm Water Challenge: Swap your ice water for warm water or tea tomorrow morning and see if your belly feels better!

Let me know in the comments: Are you Team Warm Water ☕ or Team Ice Water?
