Reposting because the truth here still stands. Isn’t it amazing how much the chin can affect the overall harmony and balance of the face?

There are many ways to achieve a more prominent chin whether it is through filler which lasts up to 1 year. Another option is also surgically adding a chin implant which is a permanent alternative to dermal fillers. You should always discuss with your surgeon your options and what is best for you and your lifestyle.

Have you ever considered chin fillers or an implant? What do you think of the results? Leave a comment down below.

Is the most important part of plastic surgery the scalpel—or the psychology behind why you choose it and how you feel afterward?

In this candid episode of Plastic Surgery Uncensored, I sit down with my longtime patient-turned-friend, Alexis, to unpack her 15-year journey—four surgeries, eight procedures—and the mindset shifts behind each decision.

We talk openly about why some patients stay secretive, why others are proudly transparent, and how to navigate judgment, social media distortion, and the myth that more procedures = a “cat face.”

You’ll also hear how motherhood, weight changes, and aging shift priorities—and why sometimes the kindest thing you can do for your family is to put your own “oxygen mask” on first.

What are the visual “tells” that expose a poor facelift?

Facelifts are trending — and for good reason. When they’re done well, they restore harmony and youth in a way injectables simply can’t. And while facelifts used to be reserved for people in their 70s… we’re now seeing beautifully subtle lifts in the 40s.

However, not all lifts are good lifts.
And once you see the “tells” — you can’t unsee them.

Here are 5 red flags that instantly expose a poorly executed facelift:
1. The windswept look
2. The dreaded pixie ear
3. Visible / poorly placed scars
4. Eroded or shifted hairline
5. Neuropraxia — nerve injury that impacts movement

A great facelift is about structure, vector, and deep support — not just pulling skin tighter.

Don’t gamble with your face.
Ask questions. Understand the technique. Do your research.

Have you been hearing all the hype around motiva implants? We are stocked!

Motiva has been used in other countries for 20+ years — so while it’s being marketed here as “the new implant,” the reality is more nuanced.

Yes — their microscopic texturing may offer potential benefits in reducing capsular contracture risk.
But that doesn’t automatically make it the right choice for everyone.
Implants aren’t one-size-fits-all.

Your anatomy, your goals, your tissue characteristics — that is what determines what implant makes sense for you.

We do offer Motiva to select patients when it truly aligns with their needs.

Just don’t select an implant because it’s trending.
Select it because it’s appropriate.

Have you seen Motiva being hyped on social media?

If you’ve ever wondered, “Can I have plastic surgery if I’ve had a blood clot?” — this episode is your answer.

Most people assume that if you’ve ever had a blood clot, plastic surgery is off the table forever.

But is that actually true?

In this powerful episode of Plastic Surgery Uncensored, I sit down with Lori — a 60-year-old woman who survived multiple blood clots, including two pulmonary embolisms — and still safely underwent a tummy tuck under my care.

We get into the things most surgeons never talk about:
• the real risks of surgery after DVT or PE
• why many doctors automatically say “no” — and why that’s not always the full story
• how a true team approach between surgeon + hematologist can make cases like this possible
• the emotional weight of choosing quality of life — even when people close to you try to discourage you

This isn’t vanity.

This is courage, nuance, and advocating for your own body — at any age.

An upper and lower blepharoplasty on this patient — taking years off his face in terms of both aesthetics and function.

He came to us wanting a natural rejuvenation — subtle, believable, and true to his face. Not an over-pulled, “done” look.

This is where technique, judgment, and restraint matter.
Good surgery should never announce itself — it should simply make you look like a better, more rested version of you.

GalaFLEX has been one of the few truly meaningful advances in breast surgery in recent years.

It provides temporary internal support and helps maintain stability during healing — which, for the right patient, can make a significant difference in long-term positioning.

Bottoming out is still one of the most common problems I see in revision breast surgery. The breasts looked appropriate at first… and then over time the implant descended lower than where they started.

GalaFLEX is absorbed over time, leaving behind stronger native tissue — and for many patients, this substantially reduces the risk of recurrent descent, both in revision cases and in primary cases where I anticipate increased risk.

This isn’t a trend or a fad. This is actual mechanical support — and it has improved long-term outcomes in my practice.

I don’t usually get excited about new products in plastic surgery. Most of them are nonsense—here today, gone tomorrow. Alloclae is different.

Alloclae is structural adipose tissue designed for aesthetic body procedures. It’s sterilized and donor-derived—free of cells, bacteria, and viruses—allowing us to perform fat transfer without harvesting fat from the patient.

No donor-site trauma. No unnecessary risk. Predictable volume restoration that integrates with the body naturally.
That’s progress worth talking about.

For many women, reduction surgery isn’t about vanity—it’s about relief. Relief from chronic neck and back pain, discomfort with exercise, and the emotional weight that comes from living in a body that doesn’t feel like your own.

When done correctly, reduction surgery restores balance, comfort, and confidence—both physically and emotionally.

What do you think of her results?
